Ingredients (use vegan versions):
  • 600g rice
  • 2 times the volume of rice of water (including the water of the algs)
  • 5 artichokes
  • 5 onions
  • 15 cloves of garlic
  • 30g of dry Hiziki (japenese alg)
  • 10g of Kombu
  • 0.4g of saffron
  • two peepers (green or red, depending of your visual taste)
  • olive oil
  • 100g of fresh green peas
  • For eating:
  • lemons
  • peepers
  • salad
  • radishes
  • ...
  • a big paella pan
Directions:

1. soak the algs (hiziki and Kombu) for two hours (keep the water),

2. cut the paprika in strips (lamella ??) (2 to 3 cm wide)

3. roast the peepers strip in olive oil, then reserved them for the end,

4. roast the rice with olive oil,

5. when the rice begin to pop or become brown, add the sliced onions,

6. then add the cloves of garlic (cut in four or two),

7. then add the artichoke hearts (cut in four at least),

8. then add the water (Pschhhht), the saffron, and the algs,

9. cook until necessary (do not hesitate to add water if necessary)... the rice must be OK,

10. design a star or a flower with the peeper strips

Serve with cudity (salad, peeper, ), add lemon juice

These are several options:

you can add mushrooms, tofu (both to be roasted during step 6) before step 10, you can add parsley with garlic cut in small pieces, globally, you can add some vegetables (according to the season),

Please use organic ingedients!

Serves: 6.
