Ingredients

Ingredients (use vegan versions):
  • 1 sliced tomato
  • handful sliced mushrooms
  • handful sprouts
  • 1/2 sliced haas avocado
  • handful romaine lettuce
  • 1 or 2 vegan black bean burgers
  • 2-4 slices whole wheat or pumpernickel vegan bread
  • dressing, if desired (hummus works)
Directions:

The thing that makes this sandwich so good is the way you make the veggie burger. Whatever kind you use, try to grill, broil or use a convection or toaster iron. I guess George Foreman isn''t totally useless. Wash and slice the veggies while it cooks. Just assemble the sandwich however you want, although I suggest putting the sprouts underneath stuff or they''ll fall all over the place. My L-O friend adds Horizons organic vegan cheese to hers, or feta, so it doesn''t *have* to be vegan.

(Bishojo in Japanese/Romanji means "beautiful girls" - referring to the fact that my roommate and I always eat these after the gym)

Enjoy!
