Ingredients (use vegan versions):
- 1 cup unhulled sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup Brewer''s yeast flakes
- 1 teaspoon salt
Serves: Many.
Preparation time: 10 min.
Toast sesame seeds lightly in a dry skillet until they pop. Let them cool a couple of minutes. Place sesames seeds, yeast flakes, and salt in a blender & blend on high until the sesame seeds are ground up.
Use this as a substitute for ground cheese. It''s good on top of veges, spagetti, and beans. It is also a source of calcium. I also double the recipe to have some for the week.
