Ingredients
- 1/2 cup reduced fat peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons safflower oil
- 1 cup vegan powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 2 handfuls of rolled oats
- 3 tablespoons wheat germ
- 1/2 teaspoon ground flaxseed * *
In a medium sized bowl mix peanut butter, 1 tablespoon of
the oil and the powdered vegan sugar with your hands until a soft
dough-like ball forms.
Then put the peanut butter mixture and the leftover 1
tablespoon of oil in a non-stick medium pan
over medium~low heat until it begins to melt..stirring
frequently.
Once it is melted add all the other ingredients...mix well
and remove from heat.
Let cool for 5 minutes...then form into 12 balls...
Then enjoy! ;-)
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
****You can get whole flaxseeds in most health food stores, and you can grind them in a coffee mill....they are very good for you****
