Ingredients
- bananas, one per serving
- tahini, as you like (*)
Using perfectly ripe bananas, peel and slice into rounds. Place slices on cookie sheet in a single layer and freeze. At this point you can remove the slices and store in a plastic bag. When ready to serve, place as many pieces as you like in a bowl and drizzle with tahini. I even like just the plain frozen slices as a quick snack anytime. If you are an addict of fat-laden frozen desserts, try these. They really help take the place of an otherwise unhealthy treat. Freezing the bananas seems to enhance the sweetness. Go easy on the tahini if you are really watching your fat intake.
(*)Tahini is a paste made from sesame seeds, used primarily in hummus and baba ganoush.
