Ingredients
Ingredients (use vegan versions):
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (or oil of your choice)
- 1 large onion, roughly sliced
- 1 teaspoon black vegan mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic
- 1 teaspoon fresh shredded ginger
- 1/2 small to medium-sized white cabbage, cut into 1/4" shreds
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- few drops hot sauce (optional)
Heat oil and cook onion slices over medium-high heat, stirring until just beginning to brown. Add mustard seeds, garlic and ginger and cook, stirring for 1-2 mins. Add cabbage, salt and hot sauce (if used). Stir over medium- high heat for about 5 minutes.
