Ingredients
Ingredients (use vegan versions):
- 1 large cabbage, shredded
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 1 cup slivered almonds, toasted
- 1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds
- 3 tablespoon dark sesame oil
- 3 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
Combine all above ingredients in a bowl and stir!
Feel free to switch up the kinds of nuts- cashews or peanuts instead of almonds. For a sweeter salad, add 1/8 cup of sugar. I always end up adding garlic, too, because I have addiction issues with garlic.
Feel free to add drained, firm tofu to the mix, but I would drain it and pre- marinade it in the dressing ingredients.
