Ingredients
Ingredients (use vegan versions):
- 1/2 cup raw blanched or slivered almonds
- 2 cups filtered warm water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract (optional)
Place almonds in a blender. At high speed add water and blend for several minutes or until all solids are pulverized. Add extract and sweetener if desired. Strain through a piece of cheesecloth or fine sieve if a thinner consistency is desired. Chill for several hours.
