Ingredients
Ingredients (use vegan versions):
- 2 firm, ripe mangoes
- 1 medium-hot green chilli
- Juice of half a lime
Peel, stone and dice the mango. Seed, devein and thinly slice the chilli. Combine the mango & chilli, then toss with the lime juice & serve. Makes 250ml / 8 fl oz.
Apparently this was eaten by the Carib Indians who also used it to season meats such as Homo Sapiens, as well as other roasts !
