Ingredients (use vegan versions):
  • 2 ripe avocadoes
  • juice from 1/3 lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 Tomato, chopped into small pieces
  • 1/4 onion, chopped really, really finely
Directions:

Mix all the ingredients except for avocadoes into a bowl. Stick it in the fridge while you''re dealing with the avocadoes. Cut avocadoes in half and pop out the pits (save ''em!). Use a knife to slice the contents of each half into little squares - you''re cutting it up inside the skin, basically. Mix all of it together, put the pits on top to save the guacamole from going bad and brown.

Eat it up!!!

This is one of those rare things in life that shouldn''t have any alterations. Especially mayonnaise. Do not make with mayonnaise. My friend Mario will just die if anyone submits a suggestion including mayonnaise.

Serves: 3-4, but we''ve been known to eat it between two of us....

Preparation time: 15 minutes.
