Ingredients
Ingredients (use vegan versions):
- 1 cup dry rice
- 2 cups boiling water
- approximately 1 cup shredded vegan cheese substitute
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 packets of ground veggie burger or 2 crumbled veggie burger patties
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
Prepare Rice. When the rice is done, put the olive oil in a large skillet and brown the crumbled veggie patties or the grounf veggie burger. When browned, add the garlic and onion powder. Then add the rice and vegan cheese. Mix until all the vegan cheese is melted and it''s gooey. This is a really good recipe for anyone missing Hamburger Helper and such...It''s been a lifesaver at times!
