Ingredients
Ingredients (use vegan versions):
- 15 oz can tomato sauce
- 15 oz can stewed tomatoes
- 6 oz can tomato paste
- 12 oz jalapenos
- 4 oz green chiles (big ones)
- 1/2 white onion
- paprika
- concentrated Lemon Juice
- few squirts Tabasco sauce
- apple cider vinegar
- miscellaneous peppers (to taste)
- vegan sugar
- red pepper (the Italian kind)
- chili powder
- celery seed
- cumin seed
- onion salt (a tad)
Finely dice the onions and peppers, chop the stewed tomatoes. Mix it all together and cook over low heat for about 30 minutes. Makes about 5 cups.
