Ingredients
Ingredients (use vegan versions):
- 3 - 4 fresh, ripe avocadoes, mashed
- 1/2 - 1 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 - 1 cup green onion (including tops), chopped
- 1 clove garlic, pressed
- "Smidge" of jalapeno pepper, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- Salt
When working with slightly firm avocadoes, I find it easiest to dice them, then add plenty of salt, and let them sit while preparing the other ingredients. The salt will help soften the avocadoes and make them easier to mash.
