Ingredients (use vegan versions):
- 1 cup raw sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 3 cups water
Blend together, strain, and enjoy.
To add a little coffee flavour, roast the seeds in a skillet until they just begin to pop.
The original recipe called for honey, but I think corn syrup would do as a substitution. The amount can be moved up or down according to taste.
